29.10.2026 - Inside RLMT: Mechanical Engineering with a Personal Touch
After sharing many insights into trade fairs, markets and partnerships, today we would like to shift the focus to what stands behind it all: RLMT as an owner-managed family business based in Hebertshausen, founded over 30 years ago by Ernst Reischl.
Over time, markets and requirements have changed. At the same time, it became clear that to remain competitive and future-ready in the long term, we needed to become more independent, more international, more technically advanced and stronger as a team.
When Alexander Reischl joined the management team in 2018, he brought the determination to reposition the company - building on his father's many years of experience and the extensive industry expertise gained over decades in food processing technology.
This is how we evolved from a trading company into a manufacturer of our own machinery. The decision was made quickly - but building the business behind it has required, and continues to require, hard work, learning and continuous development.

The key to this is our team: Engineering, manufacturing, assembly, sales and administration work closely together. Many of our solutions emerge through direct communication, hands-on experience, in-house testing and a shared commitment to continuously improving processes.
The fact that RLMT is a family business is also reflected in our everyday working life: Alexander's young daughter is often seen exploring the company, bringing life and positive energy to both the production floor and the office - just like Uschi, our family dog. His wife also lends a helping hand behind the scenes wherever support is needed.
At the end of the day, we are Team RLMT - also known as the "Solution Finders" - and we put our hearts into both our machines and the relationships behind them. Anyone working with us can expect reliability, openness, quality and dedication. These are the same values we look for in our customers, suppliers, partners and future employees.
